I was thinking while making
this page...I know, what an awful habit. But... I was. And Since my computer
was crashing every five minutes I had A LOT of time to do that thinking.
But Anyways. On to my thoughts. I did want to say that I am very grateful
to Naoko Takeuchi. not only for creating Sailor Moon but for addressing
some very important issues while doing so. Her portrayal of Michiru (Sailor
Neptune) and Haruka (Sailor Uranus) is wonderful. As with some other characters
in her show, Michiru and Haruka are gay. As my mother is a lesbian, the
relationship between these two is very personal. Not only has Naoko created
a wonderful Manga... but has made the statement that there is nothing wrong
with being gay. So... to sum up my little note here... thank you Naoko
for showing the world that people like my mother are not bad or weird.
And thank you to the rest of you for being open minded and accepting that.
