Chiba Mamoru - Darien Shields
Mamoru, or Mamo-chan as Usagi likes to call him is the
love interest of Sailor Moon. He is an older guy who studies psychology
and philosophy and loves to tease Usagi by calling her meatball head. Mamoru
lost his parents in a car wreck when he was very young ... and also lost
a lot of memories. When he first becomes Tuxedo Mask, it is a Jekyll and
Hyde experience for him as he is unaware of his alternate identity. He
is forced to transform whenever he senses that one of the scouts is in
trouble, and as Tuxedo Kamen he saves the day quite often. Unable to remember
his past, Mamoruhas haunting visions of a long haired blonde girl in the
moonlight. When He ans Usagi finally figure out who each other are, Mamoru
is killed (in the anime) and they are forced to start all over again.
Mamoru is a deeply snesitive and caring guy.
He is often seen with Chibi trying to cheer her up or giving her piggy
back rides and even tries to comfort Usagi although he won't admit it.
He's a good friend to everyone and a fighter with impecable timing although
his speeches in the anime need some work. |
