Ever met an Aires? That's Rei. Bossy, a perfectionist
who always strives to be the leader, she has a fiery temper to match her
powers as a senshi. A shinto priestess, Rei is the most spiritual and intuitive
of the scouts. She serves in her grandfather's temple and has two crows,
Phobos and Deimos, who serve as her familiars and are rumored in the manga
to be senshi. Ironically enough, when Rei first came to the temple she
renamed them Phobos and Deimos because it felt right, not knowing that
she was naming them after two moons of the planet mars.
Rei's dream is to one day run her grandfather's
temple... and it appears as though she and Chad may be headed in that direction
together. Although she and Usagi fight constantly, it has been said that
they are the best of friends and later on in the series they do become
a great deal closer. |
